General Options
- Toolbar Background - Select your favorite color as the background color of the Email++ toolbar. Default is Gray.
- Autoscroll to Show Toolbar - Enable this to autoscroll up to expose the Email++ toolbar when an email message is opened. Default is Enabled. Note:
In some cases you might run in to an issue where your email message is
not downloaded as you scroll down. Disabling this option may fix that.
Convert To
Converts an email message to an Appointment, Meeting, Memo or Task.
Usage
- Open an email message.
- Click on the
button
on the Email++ toolbar.

- Click Appointment,
Meeting,
Memo or Task to convert the
email message to one of these.
- The converted item should appear on the screen with
prepopulated content based on the email message.
- Make changes if you need to and save the converted item.
Forward/Reply with Edit
BlackBerry Email App currently does not support editing the original
message when you click Reply, Forward or Reply to All. This feature of
Email++ does just that.
Usage
- Open an email message.
- Click on the
button on the Email++ toolbar.

- If you do not want to include the original message in your
editable reply, deselect Include
Original Message.
- Click Forward,
Reply or
Reply to All.

- If the original message contained attachements you will be
prompted to select the attachments you want to include in your
response.
[Note: Due to
limitations of the BlackBerry SDK, on rare cases, some attachment types
will not work in this process.]
- Select the attachments you would like to include and
click OK.
- Your selected attachments should now be downloaded and then
added to a fully editable message in a compose screen.
- Make your desired changes and hit Send.
Options
- Enable
Attachments - If enabled, Email++ will always prompt to
include attachments. Default is Enabled.
Unsend
If you have accidentally sent an email to someone or have hit send too
early, relax, you can unsend it. This feature will delay the actual
send operation of emails by a period selected by you. You can unsend
emails within that period.
Usage
- After the send accident, quickly open any email message and
click on the
button
on the Email++ toolbar.
- An Unsend
dialog should be displayed.
As long as
the Unsend
dialog is on the screen, all send operation will be paused
indefinitely.
- Take your time and carefully select the messages you want
to Unsend and
click OK.
- The selected emails will be converted to draft messages and
will not be sent.
Options
- Enable - Enable/disable Unsend. No emails will be held for a delayed send. Default is Enabled.
- Vibrate When Message is Sent
- Enable/disable a vibrate alert for a very very short period to notify
you that your sent email is actually sent and cannot be unsent. Default is Enabled.
- Send Delay in Seconds - Specify how long the delay period should be before a sent email is actually sent. Default is 10 seconds.
- Action on Unsent Emails - Specify the action to take when an email is unsent. Default is Draft but can also be set to Delete.
Priority
Set priority of messages you are composing with a click of a button.
Better yet, you can set priority of messages that are already in your
inbox - a great way to flag messages.
Usage
- Open/Compose an email message.
- Click on the
button on the Email++
toolbar.

- Select HIGH, NORMAL or LOW.
- The priority of the message should now be set to your
selection.
Block/Filter
Lets stop those annoying spams. You can now block incoming email
messages in the fastest way possible.
Usage
- Open an inbound email message.
- Click on the
button
on the Email++ toolbar.
- A dialog will be displayed with the options to customize
the filter.

- After making your desired changes to the filter, click OK.
- All inbound messages matching the criteria of your filter
will be blocked according to the specified block action in Step 4.
Options
- Enable - Enables/disables all block filters. Default is Enabled.
- Enable Audible Alert - Enable/disable
an audible tone when a message is blocked. The audible alert is useful
because Email++ is unable to mute the incoming email notification
sounds and vibrations. So hearing an distinct audible alert for blocked
emails on top of the incoming email notification alert will let you
know that you have a blocked email and you dont have to take your
blackberry out of your holster. Default is Enabled.
- Enable Vibrate Alert - Enable/disable a vibrate alert when a message is blocked. The vibrate alert
is useful because Email++ is unable to mute the incoming email

- Manage Blocklist - Click this button to view/delete your block filters.
- Enable Auto Response - Enable/disable an automatic response will be sent to the sender of a blocked email. Selecting this will also display a text field that will let you edit the auto response. Default is Disabled.
My Availability
Lets setup a meeting, what are your available time this
week? Instead of saying that you have no idea, click on the My
Availability button of Email++.
Usage
- Compose/Open an email message.
- Click on the
button on the Email++
toolbar.

- Select the date you want to check your availability for.
- Select the duration
- Day - Will display your availability for the day of your
selected date.
- Week - Will display your availability for the week
starting from your selected date.
- Click OK.
- A dialog will be displayed with your availability
information.

- Click Copy to
copy the availability text to the clipboard.
- Paste the copied availability text anywhere you want.
Options
- Workday Starts - Set the start hour when your workday starts. Default is 9:00 AM.
- Workday Ends - Set the end hour when your workday ends. Default is 5:00 PM.
- Workdays - Select the days you work in a week. Default is Monday - Friday.
- Your availability will be shown only for your work hours specified by the above three.
My Location
You want your friend to join you at the bar but he has no idea where
you are. Get your location information quickly and send it to your
friend.
Usage
- Compose/Open an email message.
- Click on the
button
on the Email++ toolbar.

- Select a Location Type
- GPS - Gets your accurate location within meters. However
you must be outdoors with a clear view of the sky.
- Tower - Works indoors but the accuracy is within several
kilometers/miles.
- Click OK.
- After
a few moments, you will be presented with the best-match address
corresponding to your location coordinates as well as a Google Maps URL
that has your location coordinates encoded in it.

- Click Copy to
copy the location text to the clipboard.
- Paste the copied location text anywhere you want.
Options
- Enable Address Lookup
- Enable/disable an automatic address lookup (via a network connection
to RIM's Geocoding service) and include it as part of the My Location
text. Default is Enabled.
- Enable Google Maps URL - Enable/disable automatic addition of a Google Maps link that points to your location. Default is Enabled.
Message Preview
Enjoy
Microsoft Outlook like message previews on your BlackBerry. No matter
which app or screen you are on, the preview always shows up on top with
instant action buttons such as
Open,
Delete and
Mark as
Read.

Options
- Enable - Enable/disable Message Preview. Default is Enabled.
- Active Preview - Enable/disable Active Preview. Active Preview shows up with action buttons such as
Open,
Delete and
Mark
as
Read. When disabled, a Passive Preview will be displayed instead
without any action buttons. With a Passive Preview, you dont have to
dismiss the preview to continue your work, you can simply keep working
with the preview on top. Default is Enabled. - Preview Duration - Specify the duration for which the preview should be displayed. Default is 10 seconds.
- Preview Length - Specify the length of the content of an email message to be displayed in the preview. Default is 100 charectars.
